Well the Wizard pattern has finally arrived...

You can buy him from both and

He took longer than expected due to writing up my PhD taking a bit longer than expected and a family bereavement. Next project should be quicker and will be a Witch for him to be friends with :)

2016 a busy year if not a busy blog

KnittingPosted by Philip 29 Nov, 2016 12:58:12
So, this year I've been finishing and writing up a PhD, revamping the Lindum Crafts website and designing knitting patterns, check out the website or Ravelry for our Pony, Lightsaber, Viking and Tortoise patterns (the lightsaber pattern is this years freebie).

Currently in the works we have a Wizard who has just passed the design phase and is moving on to formal pattern writing and testing...

I'll try to blog a bit more regularly for the rest of the year and into next year :)

Thanks for reading,

Customer feedback :)

ProductsPosted by Philip 19 Oct, 2015 10:53:09
It's always lovely to hear from a happy customer. Back in August, Holly asked us if she would be able to make a bigger Diplodocus by using super chunky wool. We said yes and have kept in touch (always happy to answer questions) as Holly had a few questions as it was the first time she had knitted.

Here it is, a 1.06 meter long Diplodocus knitted in super chunky wool with 10mm needles....

Look out in November for this years free pattern....

CompetitionsPosted by Philip 20 Jul, 2014 08:14:05

The Dinosaurs are coming to Lindum Crafts!

and so Lindum Crafts are having their 2014 competition…..

The launch of our Dinosaurs has brought us up to a total of 20 patterns. To celebrate we are going to have a small competition, anyone who likes the Lindum Crafts page on facebook (it’s alright if you already have done) and comments on the post about the competition (text almost identical to this one and pinned to the top) will get entered into a random draw to win a free pattern pdf of their choice (from us of course). The contest will close on 31st July 2014 at 12pm GMT.

For a quick look at what you could win visit our website.

Printed excitement!

ChatsPosted by Philip 14 Feb, 2014 10:25:02
We're very excited at Lindum Crafts today. Last month the deputy editor of Let's Knit magazine approached us to ask if she could include our Barn Owl in their woodland toys supplement in the March issue (now out).

And here we are on page 9 of the supplement :)

In other news, work on the campervan kit is ongoing. The second attempt was a little too cartoony when compared to our other vehicle kits, we're hoping to have a final pattern by the end of February and have it test knitted and available as a kit or pattern late March to early April.
